Cleanroom Reopening and Training Session – next Wednesday
The cleanroom photolithography room (and hence the entire cleanroom) will reopen at noon next Wednesday (20 June 2012). Before using the cleanroom ALL USERS must submit a signed checklist and undergo additional training as necessary (see below or the protocol section).
Those needing to get back into the cleanroom ASAP please plan to come to the group training session from 10am-noon next Wednesday (20 June 2012). Before coming please register your interest and complete the first section of the Safety and Entry checklist (see below).

NEW: Safety and Entry Training:
After 14/6/2012 ALL users must train (or retrain) before entering the cleanroom. To start:
- Contact the lab manager to register your intent.
- Print off and complete Section 1 of the Safety and Entry Checklist.
This will ask you to read and understand the following documents (please do so before coming for training):

- Basic Safety Requirements for Laboratory Work Practices
- Induction: Intro to Chemicals
- Induction: Chemical safety
- Induction: Safe handling of chemicals
- Ultra-Violet Light Safety Guideline
- Cleanroom Entry Guide
- Cleanroom Waste Disposal Protocol
After completing section 1 please contact the lab manager to complete your training.
