FLASH! Paper-based Microfluidics
The Whitesides group at Harvard have hit on yet another great idea. By preimpregnating paper with photoresist, a simple means of preparing paper-based microfluidics has been created. They call it “FLASH” for Fast Lithographic Activation of Sheets. Paper-based microfluidics devices for electrochemical sensing have been prepared by the group using similar techniques.
